Hopelijk komen ze ook naar België of naar Brands Hatch (Engeland), dan ga ik misschien wel eens kijken.

Scott McLaughlin aiming to get back into championship hunt 2-03-2015
Online artikel : http://us9.campaign-archive2.com/?u=f70 ... 117a267b00
Volvo Polestar Racing and Scott McLaughlin are heading to Tasmania this weekend for the third race weekend of 2015 with the ambition to get back into the V8 Supercars championship hunt.
”This is a pretty strong track for the Volvo. For us it needs to be a strong weekend to build on and get back into the championship hunt,” said McLaughlin.
McLaughlin has had a tough start to the season, currently trailing the championship lead with just over 160 points and the Kiwi is a man on a mission this weekend.
”We can’t really afford any bad more weekends. The competition is the toughest it has ever been and guys like Courtney and Whincup aren’t going to falter. I can definitely see us having a good weekend and getting the championship back on track,” said McLaughlin.
David Wall is back again after missing the Melbourne GP race weekend due to an injury and is keen to get a strong result from Tasmania.
”After being out of the car for the Melbourne GP due to the injuries I had from Clipsal, I am obviously looking forward to get back into the car and getting back with the crew for the weekend. I am aiming to come away with a result that we are all happy with and more importantly just getting my butt back inside car 34,” said Wall.
The Tasmania SuperSprint weekend starts on Friday with practice, followed by qualifying and the first two races of 25 laps each on Saturday. The weekend is ended with the final and longer race of 84 laps.

Scott McLaughlin climbs championship order after Tasmania
Volvo Polestar Racing driver Scott McLaughlin climbed seven positions in the championship after the V8 Supercars weekend in Tasmania.
”This weekend was about to get some points back and we moved from 20th to 13th position in the championship,” said McLaughlin.
After a tough start to the weekend with a retirement due to a technical issue in the first race, McLaughlin fought back in the last two races, climbing four positions in the final race to finish seventh.
”I had a great start and the boys gave me a great strategy, enabling me to climb all the way to seventh. Putting these rounds behind us we’ve got one month to work out what has gone wrong. I’m looking forward to Perth where we won last time and I think we can really come back in this championship,” said McLaughlin.
Team mate David Wall had a tough weekend in Tasmania with one retirement and two finishes in 20th position.
”Obviously not the weekend we wanted. I was confident that we had a good race car for the final race, unfortunately we didn’t get to show that. But that is racing sometimes and we will be back in Perth,” said Wall.
The V8 Supercars resumes in five weeks with the Perth SuperSprint on May 1-3rd.
”We are obviously not happy with the start of the season and the problems that we have had. There is no doubt that we are going to address these issues and bounce back strongly in Perth,” said Christian Dahl, CEO of Polestar.
